Neil Hedley’s Pulled Pork Recipe

Did listening to all that talk of Neil Hedley’s Pulled Pork on the radio last week make you crave some for yourself? Well, crave no more!

Here’s his recipe, with thanks to Neil for his willingness to share his culinary secrets with his Zoomer Breakfast Radio fans.

What you’ll need:
5 lb pork shoulder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp garlic powder
10-12 oz of barbecue sauce
1 can (473ml) of Hill Street Craft Brewed Lager

What you’ll need to do:
1. Combine the ingredients and add to a slow cooker.
2. Cook on high for 1 hour.
3. Cook on low for 8 hours.
4. Discard all the liquid.
5. Shred the meat. (You can use two forks to pull it apart.)
6. Add 10-12 ounces of your favourite barbecue sauce.
7. Cook on low for 1 more hour and serve.
8. Enjoy!
